Acer’s subsidiary Acer Gadget and Startbit have jointly proven Jcard 2., a NFT (non-fungible token) platform for listing and transaction of trend, leisure goods/solutions and arts, according to Acer Gadget president Allen Jong.

For Jcard 2., Acer Gadget and Startbit have enlisted style and enjoyment brokerage services service provider Catwalk Production House, Taiwan Academy of Fantastic Arts and Tokyo Chuo MuChunTang Auction.

The system is supposed to boost software of metaverse, which will want cross-domain means, internationalization and globalization, cooperation amid governing administration organizations, industries and tutorial companies, Jong famous.

Remaining a startup launched in 2017, Startbit specializes in developing software package systems for enterprises’ blockchain purposes. The business introduced Startbit Ex, the 1st decentralized trade in Asia, in 2018 and has made STO (security token offering) and NFT platforms. Startbit was invested by Taiwan’s National Development Basis in July 2019 and by Acer in February 2022.

Metaverse is composed of several factors, including AR/VR/XR, wearable equipment, smaller-sizing suppliers of products and services, games and IP, Startbit CEO Sway Teng mentioned.

The organization design for Jcard 2. is characterized by listing prices for competent IP and 5% of transaction revenues as brokerage charge, Teng pointed out. Listing charges differ, dependent on IP disorders, Teng indicated.

Other than the Taiwan market, Jcard 2. will be promoted in Southeast Asia, China, Japan and South Korea, Teng said.
