Functions in ‘MotherLover’ began as images of Caroline’s wife prior to staying indirectly translated on to canvas. ‘I was much less intrigued in achieving a feeling of realism inside of the concluded parts in its place I needed to imbue the is effective with the feelings that have been felt in the moments the pictures were being taken,’ clarifies Caroline.
The paintings’ intimate nature developed with popular, sheer brushstrokes invitations the viewer to shift up shut to canvas and practical experience the operates in increased detail.
Although specific to her romantic relationship, Caroline hopes the operates in ‘MotherLover’ capture the common experience and feelings associated with connection.
‘I hope this overall body of do the job enables the viewer to acquire the time to replicate on their own daily life and associations inside it—taking inventory of the elegance in fleeting times when presented the likelihood to reflect.’
