'House of the Dragon' coming to HBO in August

March 30 (UPI) — Property of the Dragon is coming to HBO in August.

The network shared a premiere day, Aug. 21, and 1st-look shots for the Activity of Thrones prequel sequence Wednesday.

The photos feature Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) and her father, Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans), the Hand of the King to King Viserys I Targaryen (Paddy Considine).

Lord Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint), a famed seafarer recognised as the “Sea Snake,” is viewed embracing his wife, Princess Rhaenys Targaryen (Eve Ideal).

In addition, Milly Alcock and Emily Carey are proven as a young Rhaenyra Targaryen, the daughter of Viserys I, and Alicent Hightower.

Emma D’Arcy, Matt Smith, Sonoya Mizuno, Fabien Frankel and Graham McTavish also star.

Household of the Dragon is primarily based on George R.R. Martin’s guide Fireplace & Blood, which recounts the background of Home Targaryen. The sequence takes area 200 years ahead of the functions of Match of Thrones, which was dependent on Martin’s A Music of Ice and Fire book sequence.

The new exhibit is produced by Martin and Ryan J. Condal, with Condal and Match of Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik as government producers and co-showrunners.

House of the Dragon will investigate the gatherings primary up to the Dance of the Dragons, a civil war among the the Targaryens.
